Damuth Trane’s Coronavirus Up-To-Date Response Plan

Damuth Trane continues to closely monitor developments of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) with a focus on protecting the health and well-being of our associates while simultaneously continuing to offer our five-star experience for our partners and clients. We are open for business to serve our clients!
Damuth Trane continues to respond to client requests like any other day.

On-Site Protocol
To better protect our field personnel, we are implementing a pre-site survey to be conducted before any associate visits any client site. Effective immediately, a call will be made to the client site to collect the below information:

  1. Has the site had any confirmed cases of COVID – 19? If so; when, and will we be working in an area that may result in exposure?
  2. Are there any additional requirements in place for outside vendors to follow when accessing the site?
  3. If any additional PPE is required – will that be available at the site for our associate?

Remote Services
We offer remote support, so clients can remotely access and maintain building systems and equipment. If onsite service is necessary, this will provide technicians with gathered data and information to expedite service and communicate safely. For more information, click here.

Parts and Supplies
Our three Trane HVAC Parts & Supplies locations in Hampton Roads are open with additional safety measures in place to ensure the well-being of our clients and associates. These include face covering, sanitation, and distancing requirements, regular disinfecting, and a persons limitation. Curbside pick-up will still be available for those who prefer to remain inside their vehicle, we just ask that you call us at least 10 minutes prior to your arrival to allow us time to prepare your order.

Regarding our largest partner, Trane, they are open and operating – and the people who build and service Trane products are working in the manufacturing plants. Trane is not compromising their manufacturing personnel’s health and safety, and are following all guidelines from the World Health Organization (WHO), the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and country health departments. This includes enhanced cleaning procedures and screenings, personal protective equipment usage and guidance, and communications on hand washing and other preventive measures.
