Scott Kattwinkel Now Serving on the Board for The Hampton Roads Green Building Council

We are excited to announce that Damuth Trane’s Scott Kattwinkel is now serving on the board for The Hampton Roads Green Building Council. The Green Building Council is an association of leaders whose goal is to promote sustainable and environmentally sound buildings in Hampton Roads. They come together to accomplish this goal by educational programming and endorsement of the Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED™) green building rating system. They conduct monthly learning sessions and tours to achieve this goal. The Hampton Roads Green Building Council is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council serving the Greater Hampton Roads area. The U.S. Green Building Council is the world's foremost green building organization. As a regional chapter, The Hampton Roads Green Building Council serves as a front door of the Council, providing green building resources, education, and leadership opportunities within the community. Their vision is a transformed Hampton Roads in which the principles of sustainable planning, design, construction and operations are accepted, normal and achieved for the benefit of the public and the environment.
