Roger Shull Elected AEE Chapter President

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE- Roger Shull, Director of Energy Business Development with Damuth Trane, was elected President of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) Southeastern Virginia Chapter on Wednesday, December 14th at the quarterly chapter meeting. The Southeastern Virginia Chapter of the AEE was organized to help promote the scientific and educational interests of individuals within the energy industry and foster action for Sustainable Development. The chapter was founded by outgoing president, Mike Gaffney of Alaris Companies, in 2009. One of Shull’s commitments as president to the local AEE chapter is to grow membership and increase participation during meetings. Shull plans to shape future discussion topics on members’ feedback he receives. “This is a venue for like minded individuals who desire to help promote the importance of conservation of resources for the community and business,” said Shull. The 2012 chapter officers include:

  • Vice President: Mark Tschirhart, CEM - Associate Director for Capital Plans and Projects,YorkCountySchools
  • Treasurer: Matthew McKeon, CEM - Senior Engineer, Alaris Companies
  • Secretary: Douglas K Henderson, PE, CxA, CEM - Commissioning and Energy Coordinator, AECOM
