On her 20 years at the company, Leslie expressed: “Damuth is an amazing company that truly ‘walks the talk.’ I genuinely appreciate the opportunity extended to me 20 years ago. The Damuth family is amazing; they care for the associates professionally and personally. I have reported to one supervisor during my career at Damuth, Bill Mitchell, who has a kind heart and has been a wonderful mentor, teaching me an immeasurable amount. I am proud to be part of our awesome Finance Team!”
Trudy initially came to work for Damuth Trane after relocating to the area from Indiana for her spouse’s job. She answered an ad in the Virginian Pilot for an Accounts Payable Representative and the rest was history.

Trudy shared about working for Damuth: “I love that [Damuth Trane] is so personal. The owners are hands-on and truly care about all the associates. Don Damuth left a wonderful legacy with his sons; I’m proud to work for their company.”
When asked about Leslie and Trudy’s contributions to Damuth Trane, Bill Mitchell, CFO stated: “We were very fortunate that both Leslie and Trudy joined the Damuth family 20 years ago. They have been instrumental in the success of the finance team and the company. They are very dedicated and loyal associates who put the interests of others before their own, exemplifying the shared values the company is founded on.
Trudy is always willing to help where needed and jump in to solve a problem that comes up or needs troubleshooting. I have offered to put a hat rack in her office because of all the different duties she will perform. Leslie is an awesome leader for the Finance team and willing to help solve unique challenges that others face. She is great at holding people accountable...including me! She has a tremendous knack for translating “Bill speak” to others after a meeting.
We are so very lucky to have both Leslie and Trudy in our organization. I am especially grateful to have them as teammates for all these years and appreciate all the hard work, dedication, and friendship they have provided. Please join me in congratulating them on 20 years of service to Damuth Trane!”
