Damuth Trane is proud to sponsor and participate in the 10th Annual Autism Awareness Run. The Damuth team has 10 participants ready to run (or walk) at Mt. Trashmore in Virginia Beach on Saturday, April 4th. The fun begins at 8:00 a.m. with the 5K run/walk followed by the half mile family fun run and will conclude with an Easter Egg Hunt and Awards Ceremony. Throughout the morning, there will be music, kids activities and refreshments for participants.
The Autism Society, Tidewater Virginia is a locally funded organization that celebrates over 30 years of dedication towards improving the lives of all affected by autism. Autism Society, Tidewater Virginia strives to enhance community awareness, provide education for professionals, and parents, and maintain supportive, informative networks comprised of parents, professionals, and community leaders. Proceeds from this event will help local families facing autism. With every participant, we move a little closer to more awareness, more help for individuals with autism to achieve a better quality of life, and ultimately improving the lives of all affected by autism.
