Damuth Trane Receives Gold Giver Award from United Way

June 15, 2016
Damuth Trane has supported the United Way organization for over 20 years and plans to continue the relationship for years to come. Damuth Trane aided the non-profit’s mission by hosting a yearlong United Way Drive. This year Damuth Trane surpassed previous years and received the Gold Giver Award; which means over 60% of employees donated $75 or more to the cause. United Way of South Hampton Roads provides leadership that brings resources together to reduce poverty, increase educational attainment and minimize health disparities for our most vulnerable neighbors. A committee of dedicated employees organized fundraisers, events, pledge programs, and educational platforms. Holiday events were especially impactful. For example, Candy and Flower Grams, Blue Jean Fridays, and The Annual Halloween Costume Contest are just a few of the many events that helped Damuth Trane in surpassing their goal for this year’s campaign. The true reward for our employees is the positive impact their hard work and donations have on the community. Thank you to all participating Damuth Trane employees, Campaign Committee Co-Chairs Dianne Riddick and Megan Henry, and committee members Jen Ginn, Debbie Collins, Traci Archiopoli, and Sue Lee.
