Choose to Reuse 30-Day Challenge

In honor of the 46th annual Earth Day, Damuth Trane launched "I Choose to Reuse 30-Day Challenge," an opportunity for employees to win prizes by 'ditching' items that are harmful for the environment. Contestants must sign a pledge board to commit to the challenge. There are four items they can choose to 'ditch' for 30 days: single use coffee cups, plastic grocery bags, bottled water and disposable plates and utensils. The more items they commit to ditch, the more prizes they could win. "Our goal is to heighten awareness about how common, everyday products are hurting the environment," said Sarah Mirkle, Human Resources Director at Damuth Trane. "One small change can make a big difference."
