USGBC Roanoke Cement Plant Tour

Learn more about the world’s leading construction material by joining USGBC members and RCC staff on a tour of the cement production campus. Attendees will view and discuss RCC’s balance of manufacturing requirements, safety and environmental stewardship. From the quarry to the apple orchard, from the kiln and preheater tower to the trout pond, understand how the Troutville Plant is working toward reducing carbon, waste, and emissions at its plant campus and how that translates into products with lower environmental impacts.
