ABC Virginia invites Young Professionals to tour the $85 million expansion and renovation of the Chesapeake Regional Healthcare campus. Renovations include the expansion and renovation of the Sidney M. Oman Cancer Treatment Center, doubling its current size.
The hospital will also bring comprehensive cancer care to the community with stereotactic radiosurgery, a PET/CT (Positron Emission Tomography - Computed Tomography), and several other services required by oncology patients.
A new critical care tower will add 72,000 above the existing structure, including expanding cardiac diagnostic space, surgical capabilities, and a renovated intensive care unit.
Obstetrics rooms will be renovated and expanded to one and a half times their current size. The upgrade will bring a spa-like atmosphere family-centered care with natural healing elements.
