Damuth Trane was recently named as one of the 2024 Best Places to Work in Virginia for the 14th consecutive year since the program’s inception, ranking in 9th place out of all mid-sized companies who applied. The annual list of the top 100 companies awarded Best Places to Work in Virginia is created and managed by Virginia Business Magazine and Best Companies Group.
This statewide survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best places of employment in Virginia, benefiting the state's economy, workforce, and businesses.
Companies from across the state entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in Virginia. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience, which accounted for 75% of the organization’s total evaluation and ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process, analyzed the data, and used their expertise to determine the final ranking.
The final rankings were announced on February 1, 2024. Damuth Trane ranked 9th out of 18 mid-sized companies (100-249 employees). They were also honored as a multiple-year winner, having been awarded the title every year since the program’s inception in 2011.
