Asher works as an environmental specialist as a contractor for an electric utility. They work with electric transmission construction to ensure environmental compliance. Asher’s responsibilities include sediment control, pollution sources monitoring, crew supervision, and permit adherence. They also work heavily in the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) books. Asher is a certified Dual Inspector and Program Administrator for erosion and sediment control with the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality. Before this position, they worked as a field environmental specialist performing forestry surveys, rare threatened endangered species surveys, and environmental impact statement prep work. Asher has a degree in Environmental Science from Randolph College in Lynchburg, VA and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
Ashley Rayburn, Electrician, Mike & Mike Services, Inc.
Ashley Rayburn has been in the electrical field for about 7 years, mostly working in the commercial industry. Working as an electrician is very fulfilling and has changed her life in many ways since she started. Lisa has worked at Retro Insulation for 4 years as a mechanical insulator. She insulates ductwork, piping, condensate lines and through drains with a variety of materials including fiberglass and rubber insulation. Lisa runs a crew of 4 people for both commercial and government projects. She enjoys finishing the work on time and providing a quality product that the customers are happy with.
